Timber

A common mix of hardwood and softwood is found in this part of Wood County, dominated by red & white oak, pecan, long leaf pine (Southern Yellow Pine), loblolly pine, sweet gum, scattered groups of eastern red cedar with a few random dog wood and red bud tree that stand out in early spring.
